Stretching with Josh sessions

Thank you for signing up for Stretching with Josh with Lyons Structural Therapy. Please read the information below and click on the Zoom link when it’s time to join the class.

What to wear
Comfortable clothes you can move and stretch freely in.

Before you join

  • Find a space where you can lie down and stretch out fully

  • Have a yoga mat or soft surface if you have one

  • Open the Zoom link a few minutes early to get yourself set up

What happens during the session?
This is a “follow along optional” gentle stretching session without instruction. At the beginning of the session I set my interval timer and do my regular stretching routine. Feel free to follow my stretch positions and timing, but you’re welcome to do your own thing if you prefer. You may wish to stay longer in a position that is feeling really good, skip a position that you don’t enjoy or do your own chosen stretch or stretches.

If you have any questions about the stretching routine you can write them in the chat or send me an email. I won’t answer your questions during the stretching session, but I will send you a response as soon as I’m able.

What if a stretch is making me sore?

Your camera is off and this is an unsupervised stretching session. Listen to your body and if a stretch isn’t feeling comfortable please skip it. Do one of the other stretches that feels comfortable from my routine, or choose one of your own favourite stretches.
